The GH¢40,000 project was initiated by Mr Horgli in memory of his late mother, Mrs Rebecca Abla Horgli, an educationist.
In his address, Col. Necku said libraries play crucial roles in the advancement of communities and urged the people to ensure its judicious use to transform the community.
Mr. Horgli was hopeful that the project would help the children and youth in the area to cultivate the habit of reading and also use the computers to enhance teaching and learning.
Ms Tsigbey called on parents and teachers to encourage the children to make judicious use of the library to enable them to be abreast with modern trends.
Mrs Henrietta Sosu, Executive Director of the Ghana Library Board, pledged to stock the library with research and development materials for teachers to up-grade their skills and knowledge.
Mrs. Quaye commended the donor for the honour done his mother and the community and was hopeful that other citizens from the district would support and assist the government in providing for educational institutions.
Togbe Ani advised the youth in the area to patronise the ICT centre so as to become computer literate and to contribute to the growth and development of the community.
