UCC Alumni Congratulate Ministers
THE University of Cape Coast (UCC) Alumni Association has congratulated four of its members for their appointment as ministers in the current administration under Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
The four are Mamoud Khalid and Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, Regional Ministers of Upper West and Brong Ahafo regions respectively, Alex Tettey-Enyo, Minister of Education and Rashid Pelpuo, Minister of State at the Castle and acting Minister of Sports.
A congratulatory letter, signed by Prof. D.D. Kuupole, national president of the association expressed their delight in the nomination and subsequent vetting, approval and their confirmation.
“We the alumni and the University of Cape Coast are proud to be associated with your training and we have no doubt in our minds that your reign will stand out as the model for future leaders to use as a standard,” it added.
The letter noted that the ministers in their past positions and job assignments had more experience that was required to get their job done.
It further said that the association had been following keenly their activities over past few months and prayed that they would continue with their good work.
