Tic Tac To Assist Children With Heart Diseases
The Trustees of the children’s Heart Foundation a Non-Governmental Organisation in collaboration with Tic Tac (Nana Kweku Okyere) a musician will take care of 200 children with hole in heart.
Every year 400 children are diagnosed with congenital heart disease in Ghana.
Mrs. Karen Hendrickson, press Liaison. The children’s Heart Foundation disclosed this on Wednesday at a press briefing in Accra.
She said the foundation formally assist 50 children with congenital heart disorders adding that parents could not afford 6,000 Euros being charged on surgery.
We raise money to pay for children who have medically diagnosed heart condition.
Mrs. Hendrickson said the foundation would organise a fund raising event state on November 5, this year and appealed to stakeholders to support the children Heart foundation.
An interview with Time, Tic Tac expressed worry about the numerous heart disorders in the country.
Tic Tac who would embark on a tour to Takoradi, Kumasi and Tema would gather funds to help improve health and the socio-economic well being of children with heart disorders.
