Starlife Assurance Company Limited, the
fourth largest life assurance company in Ghana in terms of premium income, has organised its maiden meeting in Accra for top 23 producers drawn from all its 11 branches.

The two-day meeting dubbed, ‘Top Sales Executives Conference’, was held in recognition of the invaluable contribution the retail sales team has been making towards the phenomenal growth and expansion of the company in recent years.

The top sales executives were treated to a training session by Mr. J. N. Halm of Exsellers International on the topic: ‘Advanced excellent selling’.

This was meant to motivate them in establishing themselves as the best sales executives in Ghana and to increase production since they are the backbone of the company.

Important highlights gathered at the end of the programme include effective prospecting, how to get quality appointment, powerful sales presentations, overcoming objections and sales follow-up.

Mr. George Kojo Addison, Deputy Managing Director of Starlife Assurance Company Limited, in his address, challenged the sales executives to grow to become leaders by motivating and imparting their knowledge to the rest of the team and thus encouraging them to develop good communication skills.

The Overall Best Producer, Isaac Bentil of the Accra branch, took home a double-deck refrigerator, with the first runner-up, Mr. Alexander Ocloo-Baning, from the same branch, securing a home theatre.

Mr. Lawson Atidegah, the second runner-up from the Ho branch took home a table-top refrigerator.

With the company’s decision to promote its Wealthmaster and HomeCall policies two respective awards were presented to the top producers in each category.

Again, Mr. Isaac Bentil, who emerged the top producer in Wealthmaster, took home a DVD player.

Mr. Dominic Boateng emerged the top producer in HomeCall. He also took home a DVD player.
All participants were presented with certificates of recognition.
