Red Cross Donates To Accident Victims

THE Ghana Red Cross Society has donated some items to the surviving victims of the Senya Beraku Water tanker accident victims at the Winneba Municipal Hospital last Friday.

The items included used clothes, blankets key soap and mats.
Presenting the items to the hospital Mrs Lydia Maclean, Communication Manager said the presentation was to support the victims on admission and wished them speedy recovery.

She said the society was really touched by the number of people who have lost their lives during the accident, adding that the incident was unfortunate.

Mrs Maclean said the society had established a health post at the motorway to give first aid to accident victims.

Receiving the items, Mrs Margaret Eshun, Deputy Director of Nursing Services thanked the society for its kind gesture.
