Preach Peace - Apostle Christopher Sackey
The spiritual head of the Church of the Lord Mission International, Apostle Christopher Sackey has asked politicians to preach peace before, during and after the election.
He said this when the church celebrated its Mountain Tabborra Festival 2012 under the theme: “For I am the Lord that Healeth thee,” Exodus 15:26
The feast which is celebrated annually every last Saturday in August to pray for the church leadership, the nation, the arms of government and the security agencies .
Apostle Sackey said, the church has almost 120 branches throughout the country.
He said they have adopted the Upper East Region which they encourage in farming and also help their hospitals.
He also asked the youth to stay away from immoral acts which will endanger the peace the country is enjoying .
Pastor Kofi Afedzi, the national church father appealled to politician to love each other to sustain the peace.
He also asked them to stop the politics of insults but rather concentrate on issues.
