Students of Gomoa Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School yesterday paid a visit to the New Times Corporation to acquaint themselves with newspaper production methods.

The students, who were accompanied by their teachers, were taken through some basic steps in news gathering and reporting as wel as the code of ethics of journalism.

Mrs. Tina Aforo- Yeboah, News Editor of the Ghanaian Times, briefed them on the operations and procedures involved in the production of the corporation’s newspapers.

She encouraged the students who wish to pursue journalism to take their core subjects seriously, saying they were necessary requirements, for admission into journalism institutes.

The students inspected some of the facilities at the computer and the printing sections.
