Nkrumah Circle Pedestrians Appeal To AMA
Pedestrians at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra have appealed to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to urgently start the execution of the drainage project linking the Odaw River.
The main storm drain at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle was completely destroyed by the October 26, 2011 down pour in Accra.
According to the pedestrians the open drain was posing serious danger to motorist plying the road.
There is no warning signage to alert both pedestrians and motorists in the night as they go about their normal duties.
