An interim 11-member board has been constituted by premier league club Accra Hearts of Oak to steer the affairs of the club due to the expiration of tenure of the old board.
In a released signed by the General Manager (GM) of the club, Mr. Ashford Tettey Oku said the appointment of each member would be subjected to confirmation when the club holds its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March next year.
Members of the board include; Togbe Afede XIV, E.M. Commodore-Mensah, Apiigy Afenu, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, Alhassan Andani, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, Prof. Kofi Kumado, Justice Ivy Heward-Mills, Hon David Lamptey, Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The board members will have their first sitting next week and would be expected to deliberate on the following issues; appointment of a Chairman and company secretary, code of conduct for the members and revenue sources.
Other matters to discussed are; the financial year 2010/2011 and the first quarter of 2011/2012 accounts, current financial position and outstanding liabilities, team performance and players remuneration as well as the way forward for the club.
