The DCE praised the government for fulfilling one of the major campaign promises of the national democratic congress to supply free text books to public schools.
He said the government was committed to education, which explained why it increased the Capitation Grant as soon as it assumed office and went further to fulfill another campaign promise to supply free school uniforms.
