Ark Of Salvation Church Builds School Complex
Apostle Ato Morrison, Founder and Leader of the Ark of Salvation Ministry International and his wife, Apostle Faustina Mireku Morrison have constructed a nine-classroom school complex at Takorase near Akim Akroso.
The Ark School Complex, which also comprises offices and a store, is valued at gh¢180,000.
Apostle Faustina Mireku Morrison, who is also the proprietress of the school, told the Ghana News Agency at Takorase that the government alone could not take all the responsibility of providing rural dwellers with their educational needs.
She called on parents and guardians in the area to enroll their children in the school rather than exploiting their labour on cocoa farms.
Apostle Faustina Mireku Morrison said it is only through education that children can secure a bright future.
She appealed to the Ministry of Education, Oda Municipal Assembly, philanthropists and non-governmental organisations, to come to the aid of the school to facilitate the education and support of vulnerable children in the area.
