Koranchie Ankrah Dines With Prisoners On Birthday

The General Overseer of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Bishop Sam. Korankye-Ankrah, celebrated his 50th birthday anniversary by feasting and evangelizing to the inmates of Nsawam Medium Security Prisons on Thursday.
As a result about 3,000 inmates were served with rice and chicken and soft drinks all worth about GH˘5,000.
It was all excitement at the fully packed worship centre on the premises of the prison compound when the Bishop and his team together with some of the inmates took to the floor singing and dancing with praises to God.
The spiritually charged atmosphere seem in sharp contrast with the ground the church services was being held as the Nsawam medium prisons housed the most hardened criminals who have been involved in high profile crimes.
The two resident choirs of the prison, the united church choir and the prophetic choir dedicated a song each in appreciation of the Bishops visit and in response of which the Bishop promised to provide them with choir robes.
In a sermon based on Psalm 17:55, Bishop Korankye-Ankrah assured the convicts that though the devil had managed to take away their dignity by leading them into crimes they must be strong and steadfast in that belief to overcome any temptation when out of prisons.
He said most of them might be dejected, and confused especially, when family members and friends seem to have neglected them “Nevertheless, I ask you to take solace from the many challenges David went through even after releasing Isreal from bondage with the defeat of Goliath,” and during his reign as King.
Bishop Korankye-ankrah said he sees so many Davids in the Prison “but I can assure you that you will leave this yard to become great people only if you allow change in your life and become born again.”
Giving a testimony before the congregation, an ex-convict David Agudu who had been sentenced to death in the early 90’s narrated how through the guidance of the Bishop he came to accept Christ in prison.
Mr. Agudu who is currently training at the Royalhouse Bible College as a pastor asked the prisoners to learn from his personal experience to reform and accept Christ for a change in their lives.

This awesome. May God richly bless you and church at large. Keep the good work yuor reward is in heaven.
Dear Pastor, I don\'t know what had inspired to decide thus but in my estimation if half of the Pastors emulate this shining example of yours, dying souls will be reformed and won for Christ. Such caring qualities will confound even hardened criminals not to resign themselves to anything worthy as a result of societal neglect. The quality of food you presented to them in contrast to their usual \" ZONTOLI \" will coerce them to rethink their stand that after\'ll somebody cares. Pastor, May The Good God Richly Bless And Keep You In The Palm Of His Hand. Thanx.
I am really touched by this Wonderful Gesture to these souls. May the Good Lord increase you in this Ministry and I pray that other Men of God will emulate this example. Some Churches receive contributions for Prison Ministry but I wonder whether these cedis really go to aid the Prisons. If not they should watch out! Jehovah Sees, He knows and will demand accounts one day.
